Details and Features

The Sombra Y is a 2 mm foam-type neoprene wetsuit with long sleeves and culotte-style legs, built from 11 printed panels and 7 solid black panels to give the body a unique and beautiful shape. Its signature feature is the predominance of the print and the inverted Y across the front center, which is where the suit gets its name.

Fully covered with photographs of the Canary Islands (Fuerteventura collection), retouched to flatter the silhouette and combined with black panels. Our 2024 version is sewn with parallel stitching using high-density thread and is made from a foam-type neoprene that is lighter than SBR, laminated with matte fabrics on both the printed and the solid sections. It features the same trusted hardware used across our entire wetsuit line: a wetsuit-specific YKK zipper with size and technical details printed directly on the interior zipper flap.

Available Prints (Variations)

Fuerteventura – Trachyte (US12·1): Trachyte is the volcanic rock that gives the north of Fuerteventura its mysterious, contrasting character. Together with The Labyrinth, this print captures the hidden magic of the island's interior — a quiet, weathered landscape of warm tones over deep blacks.

Fuerteventura – Dune (US6·1): A one-of-a-kind print — discontinued, and only this piece remains. It is a contrasted dune at sunset against a deep blue sky. The design is laid out geometrically, so much so that you barely realize it is a dune unless you look closely.

Fuerteventura – Picón (US6·1): A one-of-a-kind print — discontinued, and only this piece remains. It is a macro shot of a patch of volcanic ground covered in multi-colored picón (volcanic gravel). Black lines have been overlaid on the image to structure the wetsuit, creating a very striking print.

Delivery times

We ship from Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). Even though we send everything by air, delivery times may vary:

• Typical delivery: around 5 business days.
• At certain times, delivery can take up to 10 business days.

Delivery times are indicative and may be affected by public holidays, peak periods (sales/Christmas), or carrier disruptions.

Shipping costs

• Orders over €300 ship free of charge.

For all other orders, shipping cost depends on destination and the parcel weight/size:

We do not ship to Ceuta and Melilla.

Taxes, IOSS & customs (no hidden costs)

We are an IOSS company. This means that, even though we ship from the Canary Islands, the price you pay for your purchase (Canary Islands, Mainland Spain, EU or UK) includes a 21% indirect tax, which we collect and remit to the State.

Thanks to this, our shipments do not go through customs, so you won’t have to pay any extra paperwork fees or hidden charges, and your parcel can arrive faster.

Shipment tracking

Once your order leaves our facilities, we will send you a shipping confirmation. If the carrier provides a tracking number, we will share it so you can follow the delivery status.

Returns & Exchanges

Time limit to request a return

We only accept returns if you notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Conditions

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in perfect condition (unused, unwashed, with tags attached, and in its original packaging where applicable). If the item shows signs of wear or damage, we may refuse the return.

How to return an item

• Return shipping is at the customer’s expense.
• We recommend sending it registered or with tracking, so you have proof of shipment and can monitor the parcel.

Exchange or refund?

Once we receive and inspect the item, you can choose:

• Exchange (size or print): we’ll send the replacement item to you with free shipping.
• Refund: we’ll refund the corresponding amount and also provide a 10% discount code for your next purchase.
