What we use your data for

To manage your order: to prepare it, ship it, issue the invoice and the customs document, and deal with returns, exchanges and warranty claims. The legal basis is the performance of the sales contract.

To answer your enquiries when you write to us or use the contact form. The legal basis is your request.

To send you our newsletter, if you have subscribed. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the link in every email.

To measure how the website is used and, where you consent to it, to show you relevant advertising. The legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner.

How long we keep it

Order and invoicing data are kept for the periods required by tax and commercial law. Newsletter data are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries are kept for the time needed to deal with them.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary, and with providers who process data on our behalf: the payment providers Stripe and PayPal, the transport companies that deliver your order, our email and hosting providers, and the consent, analytics and advertising services described in the cookie policy.

Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. In those cases the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by an adequacy decision.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, and for their rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and you can object to their processing. Write to hello@sandocean.es stating what you want to exercise. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Security

The website works over an encrypted connection and we apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data. We never store complete card numbers.
